We posted previously about Chester's medical challenges and we are happy to report his progress. Mister Chester headed home on Saturday after almost three weeks of hospitalization! Post bilateral thyroidectomy and all his remaining teeth extracted, his stomatitis will finally go away and his heart has stopped racing from his hyperthyroidism! He had three baths and loved them and his mouth is doing great. Still has a lot of healing to go, but an amazing recovery overall. He gained 2.1 pounds in 3 weeks and his heart rate is normal now! His thyroid mass was the size of a knuckle of your thumb!! He is playing and scarfing up all his meals and doing awesome with his great people. Truly a special little soul. So glad he is on the other side of this long journey.
