Get Involved
Your donation will directly help fellow Vermonters and their animals through difficult times, assist in rehoming relinquished and abandoned animals, and help to provide treatment to rescues with complicated medical cases.
Donate
A great way you can support our cause is through donating. The Mitzvah Fund operates solely on the generosity of individual donors and small grants.

Our primary goal is to raise funds so we can begin to expand our services to other Vermont communities and grow our cause.
Donations help more pets, support more veterinary staff, and create more mitzvahs! Any donation is very much appreciated and is tax deductible. To be taken to our donation page, please click on our donation button below. You can also send a donation by Paypal, Venmo or through the mail.

It is the kindness of people like you who make the Mitzvah Fund possible. Your donation will directly help fellow Vermonters care for their animals through difficult times.
We thank you for being part of a mitzvah!

Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in helping out! Volunteers are at the heart of our mission. We are 90% volunteer based. If you are a certified veterinarian, veterinary technician or you have experience in the veterinary field and would like to volunteer, please contact Deb at themitzvahfund1818@gmail.com.
We could always use your helping hands!

Occasionally, we will need volunteers who do not have veterinary experience. If you would like to help out but are not trained in veterinary sciences, don't hesitate to reach out. You never know what help you could be! We often need drivers to pick up and drop off patients for their senior owners. Sometimes we have a volunteer bonanza to get the Mobile Truck ready for an event!

We thank you for your interest and very much look forward to hearing from you!

Still hungry for more ways to help? Bark is the word! Tell your neighbors, your friends, your family, and your state representatives about us. If you like what we do, check out our Facebook page, and share some paw-sitive words about us.

Thank you for sharing and caring!
